Reduce Stress, Ease Anxiety, And Choose You In A World That Demands Too Much

Retreat Intention:

This workshop supports Black women in reconnecting with their bodies and nervous systems after prolonged stress, burnout, and/or numbing out and going through the motions. It offers guided tools to shift from hypervigilance, overwhelm, and exhaustion into a gentle nudge back to bodily connection—so participants can respond to life from a place of calm rather than constant survival.

What You Can Expect:

  • Understanding how chronic stress shows up

  • Identifying patterns of overactivation or shutdown

  • Learning somatic and breath-based regulation techniques

  • Gentle invitations into creating safety in the body

  • Reclaiming your autonomy over energy, attention, and emotional responses

Outcomes:

  • From hyperarousal → calm

  • From shutdown → presence

  • From reactivity → choice

  • From chaos → embodied balance

Healing Practices Include:

  • Breathwork

  • Sound Therapy

  • Creative reflection

  • Sharing circles

  • Guided visualisation

  • Self-soothing and safe-space creation exercises

  • Reflection and journaling prompts for insight and integration
